If you or your organisation can meet the requirements of the list below, you can donate to any UK-registered political party. If you cannot match yourself or your organisation to one of the items on this list you are not permitted to make a donation. 

- an individual registered on a UK electoral register (including overseas electors and those leaving bequests)

- a UK-registered company which is incorporated in the UK and carries on business in the UK

If you are neither an individual registered to vote in the UK, nor a UK-registered company you may still be able to donate if you meet these requirements instead:

- a Great Britain registered political party

- a UK-registered trade union

- a UK-registered building society

- a UK-registered limited liability partnership (LLP) that carries on business in the UK

- a UK-registered friendly or industrial and provident society

- a UK-based unincorporated association that is based in and carries on business or other activities in the UK

If you make a donation of £500 or greater to Advance UK we must carry out permissibility checks to confirm you are eligible to make a donation. We will contact you where we need to conduct these.
