Welcome to the Great British PAC.
We are delighted to have you with us as part of the next chapter of a growing patriotic movement dedicated to influencing the future of the United Kingdom.
As you will know, Advance UK members voted (87% of those who voted) in favour of joining the Great British PAC following the decision to cease operating as a political party. Advance UK has now been formally deregistered with the Electoral Commission. That vote reflected a shared belief that the values, ideas and ambitions that brought us together can have an even greater impact through a campaigning organisation rather than a now over crowded field of political parties.
The Great British PAC exists to support campaigns, develop policy, promote legislation, engage parliamentarians, support legal action where necessary and give ordinary citizens a meaningful voice in public life. Political parties fight elections. The Great British PAC fights every day.
As a member, you will have opportunities to participate in campaigns, contribute policy ideas, engage with consultations, support legal and parliamentary initiatives, attend events and help shape the future direction of the movement. You will also receive updates on our activities, campaigns and opportunities to get involved.
We want to be transparent with you. The data we have about you comes from your consensually supplying it to Advance, and from the decision of Advance members, as it ceases to be a party, to join GB PAC and transfer it to us. We are a voluntary organisation, so whether you remain a member is always your choice. GB PAC's aims are advanced by staying in touch with you and keeping you informed about our campaigns and activity, and this is the purpose of any communication we send you. We will continue to communicate with you for as long as your consent to do so remains in place.
If you'd prefer not to be part of this transfer at all, you can opt out here: https://ascent.advanceuk.org.uk/optout
