FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE UNFOLDING IRANIAN REVOLUTION
Advance UK stands with the millions of people in Iran revolting against the country’s Islamic dictatorship. These are brave people, sacrificing their welfare and lives for freedom. They deserve our support.
We hope their revolution succeeds with the least possible damage to the country and its people. We hope they can quickly establish a government which will bring peace. Many are calling for a return of Reza Pahlavi, whose family had been thrown out by the Ayatollahs. Certainly, after nearly 50 years of Ayatollah rule, a restoration of the previous establishment would stand perhaps the best chance of settling the country.
The stakes are high. If a peaceful, Western facing government can emerge, not only would the Iranian people immeasurably benefit but so would the region. It would spell the end of Hamas and Hizbollah. There would be more chance of prosperity in Iraq and the entire Middle East and hence the World would be a better place.
Supporting the good people of Iran is not just right, it is very much in our interests to do so.
An Advance UK government would always stand with those seeking national sovereignty, personal freedom, democracy and peace.
