We currently only accept payment for membership via our official website at www.advanceuk.org.uk. No other website is authorised to accept payments on our behalf. 

Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf. We currently accept payment by credit/debit card, direct debit or Apple/Google Pay on our joining form.

Why is no payment form appearing? 

For some people you may have to 'Accept All' cookies to enable the Stripe payment form to appear (or at least accept the functional cookie required by Stripe). You can do this by pressing on the Cookiebot toggle at the bottom left of the website. Once you have completed payment you can press the toggle again to change your cookie preferences. If the problem persists please clear your cookies or try making the payment on a different device. 

How do I cancel auto-renewal of my membership (paid for by credit/debit card)

When you join a political party you are committing to a movement for the long term, which includes annual membership. Auto-renew means a start-up party does not have to employ staff or divert volunteers for the act of chasing membership renewals. For context, with more than 30,000 members even if just 10% switch off auto-renew we will need to chase around 57 members per week on average, with a huge peak in June, July and August as that is when the party experienced its initial growth. This activity will divert volunteers away from contacting voters and campaigning for change in our country to instead carrying out the work of administering the party. It is a vital act of support to keep auto-renew switched on.

However, we recognise you may wish to make your own arrangements to renew your membership or may need to turn off auto-renew for other reasons (so you can change payment method at the time of renewal for instance). To do this, visit the Supporter Hub and then click into the Membership Portal link at the top of the page. From here, you can click into the 'Memberships' option and then click into your membership record. You can then cancel your auto-renewal from this screen. Pressing the cancel button on this screen will not cancel your membership, it will only cancel your auto-renewal.
