Advance UK has stopped being a registered political party. It has been removed from the register of political parties. So as a party, it is winding down its activities.

But Advance UK is also a company. Its full name is Advance UK Party Limited. That company has not closed. It still exists, and it will keep existing for a while yet, because a company cannot simply vanish. It has to settle its bills and finish its affairs first. This takes time.

So there are two things here, and it helps to keep them separate:

• The political party is winding down.
• The company still exists, and will do until its affairs are fully wound up.
