Gavin Maxwell joined Advance UK in June 2025
Gavin comes from a long Ulster Scots heritage, in Northern Ireland and founded in conservative Christian values.
He saw the dilution of our culture, heritage and economic stability and the betrayal of Brexit as the trigger to step forward and offer his decades of experience in technology, energy, agencies and politics to our AdvanceUK College.
As an innovator of some of the technologies we use in our daily lives and a pioneer of digital platforms, he understands that AI will either be our servant or without control, it could speed up the relentless loss of freedom we have only just glimpsed so far.
Gavin also has a deep working understanding of how geopolitical powers have been allowed to sever the relationship between the State and voters. Knowledge built through his direct work around the world with the UN, EU, OECD and corporate organisations which in many cases he saw firsthand being responsible for enabling the transfer of power to unelected rule makers and quangos.
