Dr Craig Walton researches geoscience at the University of Cambridge, writes science fiction and fantasy novels, and pens articles on matters of science, society, and geopolitics.
Walton grew up in a small coastal town in Scotland and worked his way up to a PhD at Cambridge. In that time, he experienced the best of Britain and many of the challenges facing the country, too. Now, he is working with Advance to figure out the solutions to those problems.
“As a College member for Advance UK, I will use my skills as a researcher to help provide the data and strategy we need to turn our great nation around. While other parties and activists throw around buzzwords and empty promises, we will draft the legislation that, when enacted, will save the United Kingdom. Ultimately, the people of this country are wiser than any politician. The democratic mandate is clear and it is correct. All we need to do is deliver that mandate.”
