Advance UK is proud to announce that Andy Dye, former Reform UK Parliamentary candidate for North Herefordshire, soldier, and successful entrepreneur, has joined its advisory College, bringing his expertise and experience to shape the party’s policy and political direction.

Andy began his career in the British Army, volunteering for Airborne Forces and serving ten years. Following his military service, he moved to Australia with his wife, where he built thriving businesses in property and construction. Upon returning to the UK, Andy focused on property restoration before entering politics, motivated by concern over the state of Westminster.

“I entered politics out of sheer disgust at what our political establishment has become,” Andy explains. “Westminster is dominated by a corporate-captured Uniparty, serving its donors and multinational interests. I could not stand by while politicians ignore the British people. Ordinary citizens are burdened with wartime levels of taxation, opportunities for young people, especially in home ownership, are disappearing, and national priorities are mismanaged.”

Andy’s focus remains on military affairs, border security, and Net Zero legislation, key issues he is determined to see properly addressed.

“The structure of Advance UK, an open, democratic party that welcomes diverse expertise to advise on policy, shows great foresight. I am excited to contribute to a team already offering vital insights,” Andy adds.

David Rhodes, Advance UK’s College Director of Policy, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Andy Dye to the College. His military service, entrepreneurial success, and political experience provide invaluable perspectives that strengthen our ability to formulate policies that serve the British people.”
